Hi All;
I'll keep this short and sweet for you - I'm finally happy to announce; CANNED BACON IS DONE!!
Thank you very much to everyone who hung in there with us while we worked with Celebrity Bacon, the USDA, the FDA and about a dozen suppliers, vendors, Universities and food labs to bring this product to market!
Literally just off the truck in the last 24 hours, we're pleased to be able to say that we have the only canned bacon that this Country has seen for almost 20 years. And unlike the product of the past, this is 100% U.S. Product packed in a U.S. Cannery and fully cooked!
We spared no expense on this bacon - only the highest quality #1 bacon, cured the old fashion way. Then hand sliced, rolled and hand packed in parchment paper to ensure that each slice is as good the day you open it as it was the day we packed it.
10+ year shelf life!!
Each can contains between 40 and 50 slices of pre-cooked (packed by weight, fat already drained for you) regular cut bacon. Each can is the equivalent of between 2-3/4 pound and 3-1/4 pounds of fresh, uncooked bacon, cured to our specifications with a light smoke process.
Sold by the case of 12 cans and ready to eat right out of the can (or ready to sizzle over an open fire;-) this will be some of the best tasting, highest quality shelf-stable bacon you've have ever put in your food storage plan or have taken camping with you.
