My wife and I liked the original Lost Boys movie. So when we were in the video store earlier, we saw this one and decided to rent it.

That's two hours of my life that I can never have back.

I kept telling myself "If this doesn't get good in a couple minutes, I'm gonna go upstairs and work on my reloading." I've got a ton of .223 brass that needs deprimed, sized, trimmed, etc.

Then something interesting would happen. Then it would start to suck again.

Cory Feldman is in it. Since he was in the first one you'd think "Maybe there will be some kind of revelation about the other movie, or some sort of interesting plot twist, or something. ANYTHING."

Nope.

After the credits, there is a little scene where he confronts his brother, who's a vampire. As they go toward each other, one with vampiric weapons (teeth, strength, etc.), the other with a stake, it goes back to the credits.

There are a few scenes with female nudity (top only), but even that didn't redeem this shitty flick in any way. And the girl I kept wanting to see nekkid, when she FINALLY did get it on with the head vampire, she took off her bra and they finally moved just right, and SHE HAD ANOTHER DAMN BRA ON! The first was red, this one was white. I guess they figured no one would notice. Well I did. So I'm guessing the actress was probably under 18. Which then begs the question, why was she even in this (shitty fucking) movie in the first damn place? I dunno. Guess she wanted to make a name for herself, have something to put on a resume.

I got news for ya sister. Even those assbags in France wouldn't like this movie. Not enough smoking and speaking nonsense. The characters' dialog actually makes sense within the context of the movie (unlike Frog flicks). The Sundance dipshits wouldn't like it either. You shot yourself in the foot here.

To Mr. Keiffer Sutherland: You need to kick the ever-loving shit out of your son/younger brother/whatever, Angus, for his part in this stinking heap of shit excuse for a movie. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Lost Boys again without remembering this horrible waste of film, time, and money.

Lost Boys: The Tribe gets a big, shit-covered thumb DOWN!

Sequels are hard to do - the most amazing sequel success story I've seen is the last 'Rambo' movie (# 4), Damned if it isn't the best of the series.
